Paul Green Rock Academy Comes to Liberi

We are thrilled to announce that the Paul Green Rock Academy is coming to Liberi! Paul Green (legendary founder of the now internationally franchised and first performance-based music education program School of Rock) and Ed Mann (former member of Frank Zappa’s band) are implementing an incredible Liberi School music curriculum customized to our vision and our students. As part of this collaboration, the Paul Green Rock Academy, a performance-based music school for kids, will also be opening their second location in our building during afterschool hours. Based on a method honed over the past 17 years, the Paul Green Rock Academy believes that the best way to teach most anything, and especially music, is with a hands-on approach. Therefore, their entire school is dedicated to getting kids playing music in an as authentic way as possible. Their teachers are all real working rock musicians, and as such are able to relate to the students in a very direct way, offering valuable advice and guidance in the field. The shows they stage are not just recitals for family and friends but rather aspire to be real rock shows at real rock venues, with professional sound and, when appropriate, smoke machines. Ed Mann will be serving as teacher and music director of our Hudson branch, collaborating with PGRA’s Paul Green and Jason Bowman to get this new locale up to speed. Get ready for "The Music of the Who" and “Tribute to Pink Floyd: The Wall" for their first fall season in Hudson. Don’t miss this opportunity to work with music legend Paul Green, who will be directing the first season’s show. This afterschool music program is open to the public so spread the word to any families with kids ages 8-18 who like to rock. Check it out:
